Is the Rapid hard to sail?

Not if you’re used to sailing in footstraps and planing comfortably. But it’s not for beginners. The Rapid rewards tuning, stance and good fin/sail trim.

Which fin should I use?

The Rapid is tuned for Tribal Speed or WeedSpeed fins: use a dedicated asy carbon or G10 speed fin for straight-line GPS sessions and record attempts, or select a weed fin for spot versatility and weedy flat spots or shallow speed spots.

Can I gybe this board?

Yes, but it’s tuned for speed, not carving. Entry and exit require commitment and control. The board prefers long lines and efficient arcs.

Which fin works best?

The Radix is tuned for our Tribal MK1, MK2, MK3 or PowerMax fins. Due to the new shape (narrower tail), you can often sail a fin 1 to 2 cm smaller than you are used to. WeedSpeed and Weedmax are also a good match when conditions demand a weedfin.

What will be included in the RAPIDs delivery?

RAPID comes standard in a boardbag. Also included in the package are of course the footstraps and screws, and fin screws to make sure you are well prepared to take your new board to the water for the first time. Is this the same shape as 2023?

Yes. The 2023 Rapid is unchanged for 2026. It’s proven, fast, and trusted by GPS riders worldwide.
