Why choose symmetrical over asymmetrical?

On two way speed spots, a symmetrical fin gives equal feel and performance both ways. No pull, no surprises. Works better in gybes too.

Is it beginner-friendly?

Best suited for more experienced GPS riders. It’s fast, neutral and performs when trimmed, but less forgiving than a normal fin when the trim is not optimal.

Will it handle chop or gusts?

Absolutely. Its large surface and stable shape keep you planted, even in turbulent conditions,

Can it be used for asymmetrical speed too?

Yes. But a dedicated Asy Speed fin will outperform it on one tack. Use Sym Speed when both directions matter or when you just want one fin for several different spots.
